Medical Imagery

img_obrazna_diagnostika The medical imagery unit has been excellently equipped and services both the patients admitted at Doverie Hospital and those at Doverie Medical Centre.
The unit performs CT scan of head, chest, abdomen and bones.

The conventional X-ray devices are used for investigation (graphs) of the lungs and bones, as well as for the performance of contrast staining investigations of the genito-urinary system.

The X-ray scopic unit allows the performance of contrast investigations of the gastrointestinal tract, cholangiographs through the drainages (contrast investigations of the gall-bladder) and endoscopic retrograde cholangio- and pancreatographs (contrast investigations of the gall bladder and the pancreas).

The unit uses also:
• A state-of-the-art mammograph for early diagnostics of mammary glands’ formations;
• An ultrasonograph for the investigation of abdominal organs, pelvis, and surface structures;
• A colour Doppler ultrasonograph;
• A bone-densitometre that allows early diagnostics of osteoporosis.
• Orthopantomograph for panoramic dental X-rays;
• A dentistry Kugel.
