Microbiological Laboratory

The microbiological laboratory services hospital and medical centre patients.
The unit performs tests on :
- secretions – pharyngeal, nasal, auricular, ocular, wound, from the genital system (vaginal, cervical, urethral, prostate and sperm)
- urine – for lack of bacteria
- feces – for enrollment at children’s care establishments, for health card upon labour contract
- materials for Mycoplasma/Ureaplasma – vaginal, cervical, urethral secretions, sperm and urine
- materials for Chlamydia (dry test) – vaginal, cervical and urethral secretions
- identification of isolated pathogenic agent
- antibiogramme based on an isolated pathogenic agent
