The Neurology Department at Doverie Hospital admits patients for diagnostics and treatment of :
• Disease of the central nervous system (cerebrovascular disease – transitory cerebral vascularization disorders, stroke and post-stroke conditions, multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating disease, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, etc.);
• Disease of the peripheral nervous system (radiculitis and polyradiculopathies, plexites, neuritis and neuralgiae, polyneuropathies);
• Myositis (inflammatory muscle disease);
• Neurological complications of other disease.

The following cutting-edge equipment is used for diagnostics of neurological disease: CT scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Doppler sonography, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), biochemical, immunological and genetic tests.

The pharmacological treatment follows the internationally recognized therapeutic regimens with proven results. However, some original therapeutic approaches are also applied.
