Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine

The Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine does not have patient beds but assists the patients admitted to hospital in other departments of Doverie Hospital. Priority areas include:
• the early post-traumatic, postoperative or post acute disease rehabilitation;
• the rehabilitation in stages;
• the rehabilitation for function improving at a later stage and in all stages of analgesic treatment.

The following procedures are performed:
• electric and light treatment;
• kinesitherapy;
• thermotherapy;
• aerosolotherapy;
• hydrotherapy;
• reflexotherapy;
• manual therapy;
• laser therapy;

The department is led by an experienced physician with a long professional record, who designs an individual programme for each patient in close collaboration with the attending physician.
